Many thanks, Etsy Mates

Many thanks to my Etsy Mates who did my graphics for my etsy store and my blog. I wanted everything to look really special, be unique and reflect my style. That's a big ask when its ever changing!

Dale in Dallas from www.seadreamstudio.etsy.com did my beautiful blog banner and I just love it to pieces! She is so talented, have a look at all her creations on her etsy shop. It's a real treat.

Marilyn in Colorado from www.accentuate.etsy.com did all my retro looking graphics for my etsy store.
She has worked with me to bring all my needs and ideas into reality. My business cards are getting printed at the moment and I can't wait to see them. Thanks Marilyn for all you help and ideas and for being such a special person.

The picture above I have had for years it came in a frame and I've kept it because in my imagination it looks like me (with perfect, curly locks!) in a time gone by looking out at beautiful Stansbury Bay.Waiting for my dear Hubby to appear. Two of my most favourite things in the world. Lucky for me I didn't have to wait too long. In November this year we have another special celebration our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Most importantly over 30 years of friendship and love. Plus 3 lovely children to share.
Time flies when you are having fun!

Wishing you all a Sunny Monday.

Tropical Getaways

Hello,
Welcome to my new blog. A great way to keep in touch with everyone, share some photos and let you all know whats happening with my new venture Astrachic Studio my etsy store.
http://www.astrachic.etsy.com/ Just started up 2 weeks ago and am happy keeping busy setting it all up and seeing what customers are responding to. Selling Vintage, Retro, Handmade and Memories unique to Astrachic.
I will be adding lots of new finds soon.

Today I am thinking of tropical getaways after the very wet, windy, cold and wintry conditions we experienced yesterday. The big birthday plans of a day shopping, dining and celebrating went somewhat off track with these extreems of weather and lack of electricity at Hahndorf, South Australia. I know it is winter and August but I was hoping for a pre spring day weather wise!

Never mind once we got back home, changed into dry clothes and shoes, had a coffee and warmed up all was looking much rosier. Giving us all time to regroup and make a change of location for our family lunch. Now we can attempt to do it all again when the seasons change.

This lovely sunset photo was taken on holidays at beautiful Seven Spirit Bay on our Sunset Safari tour. What a great place to get away from it all and relax in the tropical sun. Hope you enjoy the view as much as we did!
Hope you all have had a good week-end and got to spend some happy times with family and friends.
