Autumn Wedding.....Hot Rods, Red Shoes and Roses

Beautiful Spot for a Autumn Wedding

Bright Red Shoes were the magic touch!

Bright coloured Hot Rods for bridal cars were fun!

Rainbow sent to us to seal the LOVE

Warm Wishes to Everyone.
So please you stopped by to see a few snaps from
a very special Wedding Day.
We had our first flight to Melbourne, Victoria
to be guests at Di and Rod's big day.
It was a great excuse for a quick break away
and some most welcomed Autumn weather.
Not to be disappointed at all everything was
fantastic and we enjoyed joining in on all the fun.
Lots of special little things added up to make the day
so wonderful for everyone.
The venue was in country Eltham at the
beautiful Ballara Chapel, Ballrooms and Gardens.
The weather was kind and the rain came just as we
settled into the Chapel. After the ceremony it was
time to chat and take a few photos.
Made all the better for this lovely rainbow that greeted
us all. How amazing! What a way to seal all the love
on this perfect day!
We were wined and dined. Then stepped on to the
dance floor for dancing and fun.
Great to be able to share the day with all the family
and friends of this very happy couple.
I look forward to getting to know them as part
of our extended growing family.
While we were away we took the opportunity to fly
via Adelaide, South Australia. Back in our home town
to see all the family and relax a little before the trip home.
Although it was short and sweet we will be
returning soon for a longer visit.
Meanwhile we just enjoyed the time that we had.
Time to catch up and smell the roses!
My new Olympus Digital camera a gift for Christmas
came in handy and I am slowly getting used to it.
At least I can zoom in close if I feel the need.
My old camera had a faulty zoom that made
 everything blurred.

So these baby birds were easy to see with my new zoom!

This beaut country backyard was hard to resist!

Always happy to get close up to some fresh roses

Hope you all have time to enjoy all the special
things that make life fun!
What simple things
can make your day even better?
I would be interested to hear what you think.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Remember to smell the roses!

Greetings for Mothers Day.........Be Happy!

Special Greetings to all the very special Mum's that visit
here at Astrachic Studio. It has been so wonderful getting
to know you all from far and wide across the globe!
I send my wishes for a very happy time for you and your
dear families.

Love is in the Air!
Congratulations to the sweet couple who recently got engaged.
I am so excited for you both, Jessica and David.
Best Wishes to you for a happy lifetime together.
PS ;) No trees were harmed to produce this photograph!
Just having a little digital fun.

Perfectly beaut weather all week for us South Aussie City dwellers.
It has been enchanting weather with mild sunny days.
PLEASE let it last for the Week-end Festivities!
My Multi Coloured Roses are giving us a lovely show at the moment.
Rainbow Roses ;)

This sweetly handcrafted card was sent to me all the way from United States from my card swap pal Autumn. It is so pretty and she has used one
 of Krista's Girl Stamps.
The colours are so Me. I am displaying it for a while with my Vintage Art Deco Tea Set that I got for Christmas. This Week-end I am going to use them for the first time on Mothers Day with my Mother.
She was the one who agreed with me that they were a must have item. What a great shopping Pal?!

Cheers to you all for another great Mothers Day!
Congratulations to all the new Mum's and those still waiting for
the new arrival. Time to cherish all those little moments that create
great memories when you are a young family having fun.
Hard to believe that this is my 29th Mothers Day.
I did celebrate my Mother-to-be first Mothers Day 30 years
ago with all my extended family. Some who are not with us
anymore but I think of them often with much love.

Time to have a wonderful Week-end.

P.S So sorry this posting is such a muddle! With all the blogger
problems of late my photos have disappeared and I am having
a fun?! time correcting it!
So here it is again at the bottom of the post instead of at the
top!!!! I just love how this pretty Victorian Postcard picture
turned my card into something so sweet and special for
Mothers Day. It is not Mothers Day anymore but
I am sure that we love them just as much each day.

Sail Away PS I love Johnny D xxxxx

With this week zooming by in a flash it is time to say thank-you to
Yvonne at Apricot Rose Dressmaking for allowing me to use
her Mannequin for my etsy shop Vintage fashion photo shoot last Saturday.
If you live in South Australia you can find Apricot Rose Boutique at
Walkerville. She specializes in Bridal Creations and Dressmaking.
Thanks so much for the helping hand and not only did I go away with
some happy snaps I gained my very own Mannequin!
All done while picking up my daughter's expertly altered Wedding Dress.
We are counting down to the special day now 6 months to go.

So I created this new card design specially to say thank-you.
The rose is a beautiful peachy tone very special, one of a kind rose
that my late Father-in-law cultivated many years ago.
I call it the family rose and it has always been a favourite of mine.
Remember the days when roses smelt so sweet? I do!

These are the pretty girls in my life. Photos taken last weekend while
puppy sitting Arbee the little blue heeler. Much like having a very
active toddler on our hands, a few fun filled days!

While the week started off fun filled we have had a close family
member sick in hospital this week. So we are wishing for a speedy
recovery and hope that she will be back home soon and feeling fighting
fit once again. So this is my answer to at least dreaming about being
elsewhere than in a hospital bed. This fun creation was taken in
Cairns while on holidays and you can only imagine our excitement to
encounter  our very own Pirate Ship! For all those who like me have
had a not so secret crush on Mr Johnny D since the 80's Enjoy!

This week I am capturing the Irish in Me. I am checking out my family
history and reminiscing  about the 70's and 80's when everything was new,
shiny and undiscovered. I am thinking of my dear Grandpa who would
have been the grand old age of 109 on St Patrick's Day!
Thanks for being so special to all our family Papa.

Luck of the Irish from this Hanrahan clan,
Have a Great week-end all!
Best Wishes, Sue xOxOx
